Gift Card

The PIAZZA ITALIA Gift Card can be purchased at all “Piazza Italia” stores participating in the initiative located in Italy and online at www.piazzaitalia.it.

• To purchase the PIAZZA ITALIA Gift Card in a store, simply communicate the chosen value and pay the corresponding amount with one of the accepted payment methods. The Gift Card must be activated at the checkout at the same time as the purchase, otherwise it cannot be used. Upon activation at the checkout, a receipt will be issued for an amount corresponding to the purchase price of the Gift Card containing a unique alphanumeric code that associates the Gift Card with the purchase made.

• To purchase the PIAZZA ITALIA Gift Card on www.piazzaitalia.it, simply choose the denomination from those available (10, 25, 50, 70, 100, 150 euros), enter the sender's name, surname and email address, the recipient's name, surname and email address, the delivery date and a message for the recipient in the dedicated spaces. The PIAZZA ITALIA Gift Card, already active, is sent via email to the recipient's address indicated and can be used in a participating store, by printing and presenting it at the checkout, or on www.piazzaitalia.it.

The purchase price is equivalent to the amount that can be spent at Piazza Italia stores and online at www.piazzaitalia.it.

In the event of complaints regarding activation defects of the Gift Card, it will be necessary to show the receipt of purchase/activation of the same if it was purchased at the checkout, or the purchase order that is sent to the sender if it was purchased online.

The Gift Card is bearer and can be used by anyone who presents it to purchase items at Piazza Italia stores participating in the initiative and online at www.piazzaitalia.it.

It is not a credit card and cannot be converted into cash, even partially.

The Gift card is valid for one year from the day of activation and, upon expiration, it will no longer be usable even if its value has not been fully used, nor will it be possible in any way to obtain the conversion into cash or vouchers of the unused value.

To use the Gift Card, it must be handed over at the cashier's desk or the unique Gift Card code must be entered in the dedicated box on the checkout page when purchasing online.

Payment using the card can be made in one or more solutions until the amount on the card is reached and, if necessary, can be completed using the other payment methods accepted by the store or on the website www.piazzaitalia.it.

The Gift Card does not give the right to change.

It is not applicable to shipping costs for online purchases on www.piazzaitalia.it, which must be paid using any of the other accepted payment methods.

If the first purchase made with the card does not reach the amount of the card, the balance remains available for each subsequent purchase until the balance of the card is paid off.

The value of the remaining credit balance can be found at the cash desks of the Piazza Italia stores participating in the initiative

Piazza Italia S.p.A. (owner of the Piazza Italia trademark) cannot be held responsible in any way for any improper use, loss, theft or damage of the Gift Card nor can it be held responsible in the event of a technical failure or malfunction of the equipment and/or computer systems used for sales operations that has made it temporarily impossible to use the Gift Card.

The Gift Card cannot be replaced if the barcode has become illegible due to improper use by the holder.

Any complaint relating to the use of the Piazza Italia Gift Card may be validly presented by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt addressed to: Piazza Italia S.p.a. – Legal Office, Interporto Campano – Lotto D1/U4, 80035 - NOLA (NA).

The purchase value of the Gift Card does not contribute to the “voucher calculation base” for Consumers who are Fidelity Clients of Piazza Italia;

These general conditions of use are governed by Italian law.

The use of the Gift Card entails acceptance of these general conditions of use, which can always be consulted on the Piazza Italia S.p.A. website at www.piazzaitalia.it.
